总结: | This research was aimed to study the prevalence of Hypertension. The methodology used was cross-sectional, descriptive, field, literature, retrospective, observational, for execution and research development techniques direct observation and survey instruments used to guide observation and the same questionnaire it was applied to 60 users who formed the sample. Information was collected from medical records, monthly consentrados these results made it possible to determine the prevalence of hypertension of 26.31% between socioeconomic and demographic characteristics found were age 51 and older with 86.67%, the female 61.67%, average 86.67% economic level, marital status, married 46%, primary education 81.67%, 88.33% mixed ethnicity, household chores occupying 51.67%. The main risks were found in medical records 8.33% kidney disease, stress 75% do not exercise the 75.00%, 63.33% consume salt, 80% drink coffee, have a family history of Hypertension 36.67% of parents, doctors once a month 33.33% controls adequate intake of medication 40.00%, not known on hypertension 85.00%. To help improve your health intervention plan was carried out through education where relaxation techniques, healthy lifestyles, importance of medical checks in an open house managing to help improve the quality of life was exposed.
