The knowledge and perception that the students possess on Human Papilloma Virus as cause of cervical cancer, and considering that at present this disease has increased in Zamora city. It is very important to establish guidelines that contribute to the prevention and improving the health of the population. The investigation was conducted with a bibliographical character design and field, as well as the type was descriptive, based on the application of surveys to 135 students from Rio Zamora High School. The data obtained was 48, 89 percent of young people know what Human Papilloma Virus is. The 87.41 percent know the forms of contagion. The 68.15 percent know the symptoms of the virus. The 83.70 percent know the ways that help to protect. The 62.22 percent know that the virus is causing of cervical cancer and the 63.70 percent know the existence of the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine. The 34.00 percent of the young is not applicable no protective measuresriskbecomingpopulation against the virus, considering that the highest percentage of young, the 36,30 percent of young have no sexual experience, being mostly young women percentage. In order to contribute to improve the perception of prevention plan was developed based on workshops and talks to young students. Vaccine.
