Las habilidades motrices básicas y su incidencia en los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol de la categoría sub 12 de la Escuela de Fútbol Loxa, Loja 2023.

This research was carried out with the objective of assessing the importance of basic motor skills to obtain a better level of mastery of the technical fundamentals of soccer in the U12 category of the Loxa Soccer School in the city of Loja; a mixed descriptive and exploratory study with a quasi-experimental design was carried out. The techniques used for the evaluations were the test and observation by means of a checklist applied to a sample of 23 players. In accordance with the results obtained from the application of the pre-test, it was evident that the vast majority of the players had problems in their motor skills such as lack of coordination, balance, execution of proper technique, consequently, within the technical fundamentals were visible shortcomings in: ball control, speed, efficiency in passing, shooting, heading, so that 100% of the population obtained a rating of fair on the rating scale. Based on the results obtained, we worked on the design and application of a methodological proposal with exercises for the improvement of motor skills for a better mastery of technical fundamentals, this was structured in 65 training sessions, within each of them, both skills and fundamentals were worked in coordination to avoid discontinuity in the preparation process of the players. Subsequently, a post-evaluation was applied where a notable improvement was evidenced in the execution of the technical skills and the fundamentals, with the majority of players scoring GOOD and EXCELLENT on the scale. In conclusion, after the application of the proposal it was possible to confirm the improvement of motor skills and, therefore, it was demonstrated that the development of these skills has a great incidence within the technical fundamentals.
