Zusammenfassung:This research work, called "OVERPROTECTIVE PARENTS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT OF CHILDREN I INITIAL LEVEL OF EDUCATION UNIT "ALFONSO MOSCOSO" CANTON COLORADOS SANTO DOMINGO, PROVINCE SANTO DOMINGO TSÁCHILAS, SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014 "It has been structured and developed in accordance with the Rules of Academic System of the National University of Loja. The overall objective was formulated: Determine the influence of overprotection during the adaptation of children Initial Level I Education Unit "Alfonso Moscoso" Canton Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Pichincha Province, term time 2013- 2014. The methods used were the Scientific, Inductive, Deductive, Analytic Method - Synthetics, Descriptive and Statistical Model, techniques that were applied are the survey and observation sheet for collecting information and developing the theoretical framework. The results of the survey of teachers concerning the strategies used The strategies depend on the school and the experience of each professional will determine which one works better for slow over-protection and improve the adaptation of each child, 50 % use group strategies, and 50% traditional strategies 100% of respondents Parents Some parents are not reflective before overprotection practicing in her children, for that reason the respondents applied to the same 43.5% agree that their children are overprotected, while 56.5% mentioned that no they are similarly within surveys parents have expressed your child depends on to stay in the institution, stating the 69.23% dependent child if the parents, while 30.77% are not dependent. In both the observation guide given to children was considered that attitudes are normal the first day of classes, no clutch adaptation process should allow the child to become independent and able to carry out the learning process normally.
