Periodo libre de enfermedad a 5 años en las pacientes con carcinoma ductal infiltrante de mama en el hospital Solca Núcleo de Loja diagnosticas en los años 2007 y 2008

In the present study i will to determine the disease free period to five years time in patients with infiltrating ductal breast carcinoma in the hospital SOLCA - Loja, diagnosed in the year 2007 and 2008. This study is retrospective, descriptive and transversal. The total sample was 43 patients diagnosed in the hospital Solca - Loja, the same who were to aged 18 years old, they of female gender, diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma of mammary gland, all undergoing surgery as part of management for mammary gland cancer, with or without chemotherapy against mammary gland cancer, with or without radiotherapy. In this research work I could determine that 93% of patients received treatment type of surgery and chemotherapy, 11% radiotherapy and palliative care 9%. Also i could determine that 58% of the patients were diagnosed in stage II, 21% for stage III, 16% in stage I and 5% for stage IV. In immunohistochemical studies I found that 63% had hormone receptor positive and 32% had HER-2 / neu positive receptors. In addition the 10% had relapse within 5 years studied and sites of relapse were bone tissue with 75% and the lung tissue with 25% of cases. Finally I was concluded that the probability of survival is 100% for stages I and III, 96% for stage II and 75% for stage IV; Also i observed that the stage 1 have a 100% disease-free period, stage 2 have 92%, stage 3 have a 82% and stage 4 have a 67%.
