LUIS ALFONSO CRESPO CHIRIBOGA, FROM CANTÓN ESPÍNDOLA, PROVINCE OF LOJA, SCHOOL PERIOD 2020-2021, had the general objective of proposing relaxation-breathing techniques to reduce school stress in students. To carry out the research, a qualitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach was applied, aimed at the study of a specific problem, limited in time and space. The methods were used: scientific, deductive, inductive, statistical, analysis and synthesis, which contributed to the theoretical foundation. The technique used was the survey that served to identify the possible causes of school stress that occur to a greater extent within the educational center and as an instrument the SISCO Inventory of academic stress, with a sample of 10 students who showed interest in participating in the research ; The results obtained determined that the students present moderate to high levels of concern and nervousness, due to overload, type of work and not understanding the topics that are addressed in class, generating symptoms such as nail biting, restlessness and lack of concentration. It is concluded that among the main causes that generate school stress in adolescents, is the overload and type of work, which generate physical, psychological and behavioral reactions; For this reason, a psychoeducational strategy based on muscle relaxation and breathing workshops is proposed, to work with students and thus reduce school stress levels. |
