| Sammanfattning: | The thesis entitled: GAME AND GROSS MOTRICITY IN CHILDREN FROM 4 TO 5 YEARS OF THE PARTICULAR EDUCATIONAL UNIT LA PORCIUNCULA LOCATED IN LOJA CITY, PERIOD 2019 - 2020., had as general objective: to analyze the importance of games in gross motor skills in children from 4 to 5 years old. It has a non-experimental design. It is framed within a mixed approach because it is a process that allowed us to investigate, collect, analyze and link qualitative and quantitative data in the research, responding to the approach proposed in the object of study. A descriptive scope and analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and statistical methods were used. The technique used was an interview with the pre-school II teacher in order to know the methodology she uses for the teaching-learning process and the Nelson Ortiz Abbreviated Development Scale (EAD-1) as an instrument applied to the children to detect the problem to be investigated. The sample consisted of 19 children and 1 teacher, which was obtained through non-probabilistic sampling. According to the results obtained, it can be observed that the majority of the investigated population is located in the medium and alert levels in the area of gross motor skills. Finally, it is concluded that 68.42% of the population studied presents problems in the aforementioned area, so a proposal consisting of 40 activities was designed, based on different games in order to strengthen gross motor skills. |
