Yhteenveto:Currently, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in microenterprises is a relevant topic, since it allows the voluntary integration of economic, social and environmental aspects. The objective of this research is to conduct a study on corporate social responsibility in microbusinesses in the city of Loja, through a diagnosis using the guidelines proposed by CEMEFI to identify CSR practices and the difficulties in implementing activities, in order to propose a guide. The research has a qualitative-quantitative approach of an exploratory- descriptive nature, with the participation of 377 microenterprises distributed in the commercial, service and manufacturing sectors. Additionally, as a technique for collecting information, a survey was applied to the owners of these micro-businesses. The results indicate that 100% of microenterprises in Loja focus on developing business ethics, 81.4% concentrate also on the quality of life in the company and 96.6% of them emphasize the preservation of the environment, too. On the other hand, the dimension of linking with the community is not being applied adequately because 48.5% of these companies do not carry out practices that allow them to relate to society. In addition, when implementing activities within the company, there are difficulties that prevent the implementation of SR; regarding business ethics, 40.6% of the owners mention that the significant difficulty is the lack of knowledge of the company and the lack of knowledge about how to implement SR; 18.8% in quality of life, there is resistance to change on the part of the workers, 55.7% do not have time to develop community outreach activities and 22.3% have limited resources to support actions and adopt sustainable technology.
