Description
Summary:Development and human life are developed through successive stages that have very special characteristics, each gradually merges into the next stage. The stages of human development life cycle, ranging from conception to death; and initiates childhood, youth and continues after a hiatus of maturity, finally there is the older adult, from 65 years. These generational segments are not only framed in the biological field: each person fulfills roles and functions within a given family, community and culture, leading him to hold different rights and obligations, appropriate to the corresponding generation stage, the exercise must be effectively guaranteed by the state, the family and society. This research aimed to identify the social aspects that affect the good life of this vulnerable group, among which we as major lack of awareness and social irresponsibility by family members and the general public, leading to denial of support, respect and enforcement of laws that protects them, and as a consequence the abandoning their responsibility to pass on to others. The main conclusion of the research is determined that aging and old age are central themes of gerontological research, which currently have the difficulty and need care from family, society and state to promote the exchange and mutual help and improve living conditions of the elderly In this perspective there is the concern, that if the state supports programs and policies in search of the welfare of the group of adults, should work well as here in the intervention in family policy, stressing the need for educational measures aimed at families. Considering that say Arturo Torres Licea; Social work " is the profession involved directly with individuals or social groups that are lagging behind, disorganization or social problems and which themselves have not been able to solve, so it promotes the organization of the population to meet their needs and achieve adequate performance this in a society in permanent change, thereby seeking to improve their living standards " Professional intervention of social workers of the object of discipline, which focuses on situations of difficulty people and obstacles in the social environment that limit or hinder human development, situations that require our intervention to transform , improve or overcome difficulties, enhance the capabilities and resources , focusing both on individual , group or community situations , as in the social environment, making it necessary to take into account the emotional tension within which they live , which lead to the search for strategies and promoting social support networks that allow acquiring an intimate knowledge of the situation for the solution of problems of this human group , leading to comply with mandated by the constitution " the right of everyone is to reach a decent standard of living and guarantee security for old age. " We have the great task of actively participating in everyday life, build intervention proposals that respond to social need and run them , the same that lead to insert into processes of good living to people who are engaged in this vulnerable group, taking as starting the feel of themselves , based on the actual diagnosis , arranging the inclusion of embedded institutions and individuals that illustrate this need, the awareness being necessary for active participation , without our actions as social workers would not have the desired success .
