Description
Summary:Inclusive education seeks to ensure equal opportunities in education, while the reading corner is a space that fosters a love for books from an early age. Both concepts intertwine to create inclusive environments that promote reading and learning in 5 to 6-year-old children at La Pradera Municipal School in the 2023-2024 period, the general objective was to analyze inclusive education and the reading corner for 5 to 6-year-old children at La Pradera Municipal Basic Education School. For this, a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, quasi-experimental design, and cross-sectional cut was employed. An interview guide and an observation guide were used as research instruments with the teacher, significantly contributing to data collection. The research population was at La Pradera Municipal School, where a teacher was selected through non-probabilistic sampling. The results showed the teacher's commitment to inclusive education, striving to provide a welcoming environment tailored to the needs of her 5 to 6-year-old students. Despite lacking a reading corner, she creates specialized materials that professionally and affectively stimulate reading. In conclusion, the teacher's commitment to implementing inclusive education in the classroom is highlighted, making the most of the available materials. Her dedication is acknowledged, suggesting seeking additional resources for further enriching the children's educational experience.
