description The present reach project was based on the premise that the family environment and the experiences lived by students who has played a central role in their academic and social development. The principal objective was to carry out a complete analysis of family dynamics and its influence on the behavior of eighth grade students. In order to get it, the situations that adolescents meet up at this educational level were examined, with the purpose of identifying the possible causes of their behaviors. Likewise, analyzes were accomplished on the family circumstances that the students were experiencing. The study followed a non-experimental and mixed design, with the participation of 22 students from the “Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Educare” in the Loja city, selected through intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The Multifactor Self-Evaluative Test of Child Adaptation (TAMAI) played a fundamental role in data collection, allowing multiple dimensions of adaptation and behavior in students to be evaluated. The results obtained provided a detailed view of the students' adaptation in their family and school environments, laying the foundation for a more in-depth analysis of the relationship between family dynamics and student behavior. El objetivo principal fue llevar a cabo un análisis completo de la dinámica familiar y su influencia en el comportamiento de los estudiantes de octavo grado. Para ello, se examinaron las situaciones que los adolescentes enfrentan en este nivel educativo, con el propósito de identificar las posibles causas de sus comportamientos. Asimismo, se realizaron análisis de las circunstancias familiares que los estudiantes estaban experimentando. El estudio siguió un diseño no experimental y mixto, con la participación de 22 estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Educare en la ciudad de Loja, seleccionados mediante un muestreo no probabilístico intencional. El Test Autoevaluativo Multifactorial de Adaptación Infantil (TAMAI) desempeñó un papel fundamental en la recopilación de datos, permitiendo evaluar múltiples dimensiones de adaptación y comportamiento en los estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos proporcionaron una visión detallada de la adaptación de los estudiantes en sus entornos familiares y escolares, sentando las bases para un análisis más profundo de la relación entre la dinámica familiar y el comportamiento estudiantil.
