Diagnóstico de las problemáticas en el barrio La Colina parroquia Zamora del cantón Zamora, 2023.

The appropriate organization among people contributes to the development and progress of communities, that is why this research work aims to contribute to the neighborhood of La Colina in the Zamora canton, at Zamora Chinchipe Province, in the diagnosis of problems through processes aimed at meeting the demands of citizens, carried out through three specific objectives that were: to determine the current situation of the neighborhood, identify the main problems affecting the neighborhood and define strategies based on the problems detected for the search for solutions by the canton's authorities. We worked with a population of 108 family representatives, including heads of household, cohabitant or spouse and another member over 18 years of age; an observation sheet was used as a research instrument, which revealed the problem of cleanliness in green areas and vacant lots as well as the non-completion of the sewage system and paving of certain streets. Another important aspect was verified through the surveys where the improvement of alternative pedestrian access to the neighborhood was identified as the main problem to be addressed. The interview with the neighborhood president revealed that basic water service is also another need, which was identified as the most relevant at the end of the interview. In addition, it was found that there is a good level of citizen participation in situations of collective interest. It is considered very important to develop projects of this nature in different sectors in order to help strengthen the practice of neighborhood organization and thus provide solutions to citizen needs.
