Sažetak:This research work was performed in the doctors and nurses of the Social Security Hospital of Loja, the main objective was proposed: To determine the degree of job stress involvement in the Quality of Care provided to patients who come to the Social Security Hospital Loja specific objectives: To determine the prevalence of occupational stress in health professionals assess the quality of care provided and the level of user satisfaction. And also determine the gender more prevalent occupational stress presented to this hospital for a study this descriptive, cross-quantitative, which surveyed 88 health professionals (doctors and sick people) working in the Hospital, and 120 patients / Clients attended detected areas where higher levels of stress than were outpatient areas and emergency, determined that 92% of professionals have some degree of job stress, with the largest group affected female with medium stress level by 60%, and to a lesser extent (20%) in males which detected a low level of stress. With regard to quality of care, it is perceived as unsatisfactory in these two services, primarily in the Emergency Service. Keywords: stress, hospital, doctor, nurse, quality of care.
