One of the main risks for environmental pollution is the improper disposal of used lubricating oils. The present work we search information and the proposal of solutions for the collection and recycling of the lubricating oils used in the city of Cariamanga. In chapter one, the antecedents and previous concepts that are necessary for the development of the proposal are exposed and also, it focuses on the study of the lubricating oils, in order to know the characteristics, types and classification of the same, presents the environmental impact produced by used lubricating oils. On the other hand, chapter two lists the existing regulations when working with used lubricating oils, this gives a clear idea of how to take care of the environment and the health of people working with these substances. Finally chapter three presents the techniques that allow to recycle used lubricating oils and therefore to diminish their impact with the environment. Within the methodology applied for the development of the research, different techniques were used, these are: surveys and field visits validated through observation sheets. These techniques were applied to the owners of the workshops and lubricators, as well as to the citizenship; In order to know the current situation of the city of Cariamanga, its knowledge on the subject of recycling in general and compliance with regulations for the management of used oil in particular. These surveys and tabs have been tabulated and analyzed in order to obtain relevant information, which has been compared with other studies carried out in the city of Loja and Cuenca Taking into account all the above parameters, a proposal is established, which includes all the actors that have a fundamental role for the implementation and the success of the same. Finally the respective conclusions and recommendations obtained from the development of this project are presented. |
