要約:Survival in patients diagnosed with Terminal Chronic Kidney Disease (TCKD), who start renal replacement therapy, is low, having a life expectancy from 3-5 years on average, after entering very short dialysis. Based on this, it was performed a quantitative, descriptive, retro-prospective and cross-sectional study, whose main aim was to determine survival from patients who undergo hemodialysis, according to the kidney loss function basic etiology, in Regional Hospital Isidro Ayora Loja, applying this study on a total of 60 patients. It was found on them an overall survival of 73.33%, with a breakdown it was obtained, hypertension with 35% of cases, the basis for developing Terminal Chronic Kidney Disease (TCKD) with longer survival to 7 years specifically; according to each pathology based on loss renal function, continues to rank first Hypertension with 77.78% of cases surviving 7 years of hemodialysis, unlike Polycystic Kidney disease as a basic pathology on developing Terminal Chronic Kidney Disease (TCKD), not reaching survival at 7 years.
