Resumo:The logical mathematical relationships allow the child to develop their intelligence, thinking, reasoning and learn new skills such as counting, classification, correspondence, among others, which can be strengthened with the use of structured didactic material that favors the learning of the same. Thus, the present study had the general objective of determining how the structured didactic material strengthens the development of logical-mathematical relationships in children from 4 to 5 years of age from the Lauro Damerval Ayora Educational Unit in the city of Loja, in the period 2022-2023. Which was framed in a quasi-experimental design, with a mixed approach, in addition, the inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods were used. For the collection of information, the EVAMAT-0 Test was used as an evaluation instrument, which was used as a pre and post test, where the initial results determined that 82% of the population were located in a low area, 10% in the middle zone and 18% in the upper zone, demonstrating little knowledge in the concepts of geometry, quantity-counting and problem solving. With the purpose of reducing these results, the activity guide based on the use of structured didactic material was applied and through a final evaluation it was verified that the low zone was reduced to 17%, while the middle zone was placed at 33%. and 50% were located in a high zone. Based on the positive results achieved, it can be deduced that the structured didactic material is suitable for enhancing mathematical skills, because they allow different activities that help the infant to reinforce their knowledge, due to the ease it has when adapting to a new topic, to its use and handling.
