LINEAMIENTOS PROPOSITIVOS. The same goes according to the Regulation of Academic System National University of Loja. The central problem of the research work was: In what way impinges on implementation of children's stories as a strategy to strengthen the speaking and writing of children first year of basic education "Uruguay" School No. 87. Amaluza parish. The overall objective: To determine the influence of the children's story and its impact on the development of oral and written expression of children first year of Basic Education School "Uruguay" No. 87, the Amaluza Parish, Canton Espindola. , Province of Loja, school year 2014-2015. The methods used for the preparation of this research were: scientific, inductive - deductive, analytic - synthetic and statistical model, the same that served effectively help to achieve the proposed goal. The techniques and instruments used were: survey applied to teachers to identify children's stories, and observation guide applied to children of first year of basic education school "Uruguay" N°. 87, to assess the speaking and writing of children. It is concluded that: 100% of the surveyed teachers used the fantastic stories and fairy tales with children, 50% said they used classic stories to develop the oral and written expression of the children in the first year of basic education. In observation guide applied to children to assess the development of oral and written expression, determine the following results: 43% of the children followed in carrying out activities received a satisfactory rating, the 32% Very Satisfactory and 25% unsatisfactory evaluation of oral and written expression observation guide.
