Etiketle | Özet: | Hospital practices among students in the nursing career have great educational impact because the knowledge acquired in them, enabling the development of skills and attitudes of each student the same that will be needed to become professionals in the health field. Also they are of great significance for education which promotes academic development, capacity building, and contributes to personal development through the integration of knowledge, skills and attitudes. This study called: STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES IN THE BEGINNING OF HOSPITAL PRACTICES OF STUDENTS RACE NURSING National University of Loja, was a descriptive study, as the survey instrument was used, the same that was applied to the 83 students who were enrolled in third and fifth cycle of the nursing career. The results are presented in graphs with which it was determined that there are weaknesses as performing procedures under supervision of the teacher, the time allotted for hospital practice is not appropriate to put into practice what they learned in class and not having sufficient to allow the practice within the hospital environment material.
