總結:The project consists of designing the underground infrastructure for medium voltage, low voltage, and public lighting electrical supply on Av. Isidro Ayora, between 18 de Agosto Street and Av. Eliseo Arias Carrión in the city of Catamayo. An existing electrical plan survey is conducted using the Geographic Information System (GIS), followed by a redesign of the electrical system in accordance with current regulations and standards. The purpose is to update and optimize the electrical infrastructure, promote better urban planning, and enhance safety in the area while improving accessibility to the electrical service for consumers. To select the appropriate materials, established standards by the Southern Regional Electric Company (EERSSA) and the Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR), among other applicable regulations, are followed. A compilation of necessary materials is made considering both implementation costs and labor requirements. The project will include the installation of approximately 2.5 km of medium voltage conductor, 4.3 km of low voltage conductor, 2.2 km of public lighting conductor, excavation of 3.3 km of trenches, and the installation of 158 underground pits. Additionally, 71 fiberglass poles with LED luminaires will be erected, and 10 overhead transformers with a total capacity of 875 kVA will be used. With these elements, the project aims to meet the energy demand of 279 beneficiaries. The project has an estimated investment of approximately USD $1.6 million. Keywords: Underground electrical grid, Power suppl y, Street lighting.
