| Sumari: | The research called “PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PASCOS FOR THE FEEDING OF MILK IN THE MINING SECTORS OF ZAMORA HUAYCO NEIGHBORHOOD OF CANTON”, fully developed according to the following specific objectives: to carry out a situational analysis of the production of milk from cattle and Pasture management; Carry out economic analysis of the production of beef milk and share the results of the proposed improvement of pastures for cattle feeding milk in the Zamora Huayco neighborhood of Loja Cantón. In the methodology, scientific, analytical, descriptive and inferential inductive methods were used. The techniques used were direct observation and survey, the same that was applied to the total population of 10 livestock producers in "Las Minas" sector of Zamora Huayco, Canton and Loja Province. The results show that 90% have paddocks of 3-4 hectares and 10% of 5 to 6 hectares; The cattle feed is by free grazing in 80% and 20% by sogueo, supplemented with salt and molasses; The type of grass is natural with a time of 30 days of grazing, obtaining an average production of milk of 3.1 liters / cow / day. They do not have irrigation and the drinking water for cattle comes from the current in 50%, 40% of wells and 10% river. Regarding the composition of the herd, 25 dairy cows, 9 dry cows, 9 pregnant cows, 16 calves 1 belly and 4 bulls were identified, giving a total of 63 adult cattle. Paddocks analysis indicates that there is a rate of 1.83 when the receptive capacity is 0.51 UBAs. The annual economic analysis of the area of study in relation to milk production, data indicate an average producer: costs $ 1359.87; Revenues of $ 1570.53 and there is a profit of $ 210.66; A profit / cost of 1.15 and a yield of 15.5%. Within the implicit proposal as the improvement of the prairie, has been conceived for the development of the prairie, the initial fertilization, the system of sowing, the control of weeds and the period of grazing; To determine the animal load and receptive capacity with the practical management of the rotational grazing, rest period, drinking fountains and slanderous and live fences; Establish the irrigation system, with the design of an irrigation system and the installation of this system. It is concluded that in the study area there is a low production of milk per cow per day 3.1, due to the poor management of the pastures. Therefore, we recommend executing the improvement of the paddocks of the proposal in order to increase the production of milk and therefore the profitability of the producer. As recommendations adjust load animal according to the receptive capacity of the paddocks to take advantage of available forage resources rationally and avoid unnecessary expenses for pastoral lease. Adjust the animal load according to the receptive capacity of the paddocks to take advantage of available forage resources rationally and avoid unnecessary expenses for pastoral lease. |
