Streszczenie:SUMMARY The quantity of water needed by the crops in their different phenological stages is directly related to the climatic factors of the place. In other words, the climate establishes the amount of water that is lost by the evapotranspiration produced. In the sector El Porvenir belonging to the irrigation system Campana-Malacatos, it has been decided to carry out this project whose main objective is to contribute to the knowledge of the water needs of the crops. One of the methods to measure this evapotranspiration is the volumetric lysimeter, in one of the crops such as strawberry (Fragaria Vesca L.) which is an early high production plant and whose fruit is of exquisite flavor, very appealing in the market. With the data obtained from the Davis Vantage Pro2 automatic station installed in the sector and with the data from the volumetric lysimeter, the calculations were carried out to comply with the specific objectives set and in this way determine the total water requirement for the cultivation of strawberry in a total cycle of 194 days.
