To comply with the requests I met on several occasions with Ing. Oscar Peralta PNP Director, and Ing. Juan Carlos Ortega technical NPP, who are the people who know all the activities that take place in it. In all meetings the opportunities generated by tourism in the Podocarpus National Park as well as the negative impact of the same were discussed, since the purpose for which it was created is no tourism if not the conservation of biodiversity that has this protected area and contemplating generate greater influx of tourists under the principles of sustainability as this place is visited by lovers of nature but has not given the necessary importance to this activity. For the preparation of the proposed marketing plan, as an overall objective is to develop a Tourism Marketing Plan for the Podocarpus National Park, Loja and Zamora Chinchipe, also raised three specific objectives; the first objective: To make a diagnosis of the current situation of the Podocarpus National Park Loja and Zamora Chinchipe; The second objective: Propose a marketing plan for the Podocarpus National Park Loja and Zamora Chinchipe; The third objective: Socialize the Tourism Marketing Plan with the authorities and community. To fulfill the objectives the methodology used in the study, which covers surveys of tourists, interviews for authorities NPP analysis of the tourism situation and review of information from books, magazines, websites and raised holding meetings and consultations with the people involved, the SWOT analysis was applied strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and field visits were made to the PNP to check the status and conditions they are in. In this project a promotion plan for the PNP, which consists of making the placement of billboards with images representing the park, so the placement of static totems in different squares and parks busiest for citizenship is proposed, and put interactive digital totems in Catamayo Airport Camilo Ponce Enriquez and the ground terminal of the Swan Queen Loja, complementing it calecos designs and foam cups is presented, with the logo to identify the Podocarpus National Park. A training course is raised for people who work as park rangers and tour guides, on some issues such as motivation, human relations, principles of tourism and ecotourism, group management, role of the guide, customer service, system and graphic information cartography, taxonomy, botany and basic English, in partnership with related institutions to tourism and the National University of Loja. Tour packages and activities that lead the 5 industry as the Bombuscaro Cajanuma was also designed. It also intends to implement important dates in the placement of data points in educational institutions of secondary and tertiary level and thus make known the activities that can be performed in the PNP. Culminating with the third goal was socializing with authorities, technicians and park rangers NPP should be given to opening this type of projects submitted, became known that besides being a protected area that was created for biodiversity conservation, also it can be promoted as a tourist destination. With this background he reached the following conclusions: that problem it addresses the Podocarpus National Park, is mainly focused on its creation is based on the conservation of biodiversity that exists in it and no tourism. Besides the absence of budget for the tourism sector, in addition to that the lack of tourism projects, which does not allow the development of tourism, so it is recommended that the authorities of the Ministry of Tourism to be given further development project management tourist and implement budget for activities in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, the foundation that the main weakness of the study sector is no budget. Whereas the park is a venue for many nature lovers for its diverse flora and fauna. |
