Tourism today is probably the most important economic activity in the world, was established in a viable economic alternative in different places, having the same meaning tourism that generates economic development through increased employment opportunities and thereby improves quality of life of people. In Ecuador, tourism has stood out as an activity that contributes to the development of peoples in different areas can obtain your own advance political, social and cultural allowing all and sundry know and appreciate their cultures, traditions and nature of such so that tourist routes are designed to be viewed in less time. Loja province located in southern Ecuador, offers a variety of natural and cultural attractions in each of their villages, carrying currency generation for its inhabitants is therefore very important planning studies to improve the tourism, making the new route named Yangana Exodus", the same that integrates urban and rural parishes of the south western part of Canton Loja, starting from a situation assessment, based on sustainability and tourism growth of such places. The Sanctum urban parish located in the central part of the city of Loja has with important cultural tourism resources that are used to be attractive for great reception, the same as disclosed history to tourists. Thus it is of great importance to know the current situation of the site where the investigation executed. The National University of Loja through tourism administration career through a degree program has seen the need for research based on guidelines including Tourism Situation Analysis is within the province of Loja, as this constitutes an important element for establish development strategies, enabling them to improve and increase tourism. For the development of this research was conducted several field trips to the various parishes to see if the diagnosis has been made, showing that there is no such study in urban parishes of the canton. For this reason the study area prioritized identifying their problems, they are: insecurity, poor maintenance of its streets, disorganization among its inhabitants and authorities, all these factors good tourism development delay. Based on this research analysis raised the issue: "Situational Diagnosis Parish Tourist urban Dunharrow, as part of the tourist route" Yangana Exodus From The Canton of Loja Loja Province. To which have established the following objectives to help comply with the thesis topic being the main objective: Identify alternative tourism development linked to the route "Yangana Exodus" of the parish the Shrine of the Province of Loja, through diagnosis of a tourist in the same way they raised three specific goals that allowed us to get better results: a) characterize the current state of tourism in the parish of the canton Dunharrow Loja, with its opportunities and limitations for this purpose was used the methods scientific, literary, analytic - synthetic, descriptive, yet the process was complemented with the help of techniques like the same observation was to conduct a quick survey of the place, finally realized adaptation matrix characterization Carla tourist Ricaurte Quijano adjusting to the reality of the parish under study. b) Determine the composition of the tourism supply and demand of the urban parish Sanctum: to carry out this objective methods were applied scientific and technical literature from the observation that the inventory allowed the parish tourist Dunharrow using the methodology Ministry of Tourism and technical instruments of precision, as well as inventory sheets attractive both as service providers for demand analysis technique was used for the survey questionnaire was applied to domestic and foreign tourists have visited the parish. c) Design strategies for tourism development in the parish Dunharrow MARPP technique was used which consisted in an interactive workshop where participants involved in the design of the SWOT matrix which results allowed establishing tourism development strategies by raising future projects possible to promote tourism development and improve quality of life for residents. For this reason it is essential to recommend that you should take advantage of its attractive good way through prior planning of programs and projects, such as the tourist circuits within this site also should be performed keeping constant the different attractions and implement security well as update the register of providers and verify tourist establishments are in operation in order to give their annual operating license grant category, plus there must be a mutual coordination between the authorities and inhabitants to thus can work to progress more equitable
