Crynodeb:Establish cultural risk factors and their relation to sexually transmitted diseases in women of childbearing age in order to guide prevention and control of these infections, thereby improving the quality of life of patients. The research was quantitative, cross-sectional and analytical type, the study population was 130 patients attending outpatient gynecology Health Center No. 2 in the city of Loja, for data collection survey and clinical Stories was used 60% of women become sexually active between 14 and 18 years, 52.31% had 2 to 3 sexual partners, 42.31% never used a condom, 77.69% do not know the Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) history of their partners, 54.62% do not know about STDs, 46.92% considered shameful STDs as I have immoral.
