Riassunto: | This research paper entitled: The pictograms to improve cognitive skills of children 4 to 5 years of age in the Education Unit Lauro Damerval Ayora Loja City. 2014-2015 period, overall objective: To determine the importance of using pictograms to improve cognitive skills of children 4 to 5 years old. This is a qualitative study, descriptive, in which the methods were used: scientific, descriptive, deductive, inductive, statistical, analytical - synthetic. The techniques and instruments used for the preparation of this research work were: the survey of the teachers where they could gather information about the importance of pictograms, an observation guide, in order to know how is the development of skills cognitive in girls / os. The research universe consisted of a sample of 31 girls / os and 2 teachers giving a total of 33. It can be concluded that 100% of the teachers surveyed said that the pictograms is a children's educational resource that is advisable, because they help develop cognitive skills. From the results obtained in implementing the post-guide, and after the application of a manual activities for development of cognitive skills, the girls / os, it was verified that there was an improvement in cognitive skills, ie pictograms are used by teachers as a different way to teach a child to read, turns out to be more responsive and powerful, also favors the development of other essential basic skills such as improving attention, language, perception and memory , this being a fundamental pillar for the child to achieve learning progress. |
