| Ամփոփում: | This thesis entitled: “LIBRARY SERVICES "CARLOS LARREÁTEGUI MENDIETAI" UNIVERSITY OF THE AMERICAS, FROM MEETING THE DEMANDS OF INFORMATION USERS. PERIOD 2013 – 2014”, it has been structured and developed according to the regulations of graduation from the National University of Loja. The general objective that guided the research was: To show through the results of this research, the importance of the Libraries services face meeting the information needs of users. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: Scientific, Descriptive, Inductive, Deductive, Statistical Model. Techniques and instruments used were: A Survey applied to the Library Staff “Carlos Larreátegui Mendieta"University of the Americas to determine the incidence of the services offered by the library in meeting the information demands of students, teachers and university community; a survey of users who visit their facilities and find quality information attached to their information requirements. From the results of the survey of the Library Staff is determined that 100 % of staff said give information and explanation to users of the performance os services, they say that every beginning of semester trainings program for new students semester. According to the survey of users visiting a library, states that 51 % of users ensure that library services are very good, 33% are good, 11% are excellent and 5 % are regular training sessions for new students of new students of the semester. |
