要約:Phonetic skills are learned from preschool, by associating and identifying sounds with letters or words where children master the basic skills to combine them, in this sense they have the ability to segment smaller units, such as syllables, sounds, phonemes and syllabic units, necessary for a personal and social development, for this reason, the present investigation had the objective of determining how gamification improves phonetic skills in children of initial level II of the Teniente Hugo Ortiz School of Basic Education in the city of Loja, a design was produced quasi-experimental with a mixed approach to collect qualitative and quantitative information, likewise the descriptive scope was used, the inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods were used. To obtain information on the variables, the observation technique was shown and as an instrument, the PLON-R test in twenty children from four to five years of age, obtaining that initially 90% of them appeared in phonetic skills related to the dimension of form reflecting problems segmenting and replacing words with others, repeating sentences, description of pictures and non-discrimination, both visual and auditory, after the application of the guide "Gamifying my language I am learning", will be significantly modified, since 45% were located in a normal level in this way, it is concluded that gamification contributed to the improvement of phonetic skills, because they managed to strengthen vocalization, understand the meaning of a greater number of words, form and express sentences, which facilitated the understanding of the oral message by engaging clear and coherent communication.
