| Tóm tắt: | School coexistence is an environment that is formed on a basis of respect and equality, constituted by a set of human relationships that are established between all the actors that are part of the educational institution, students, teachers, managers and parents. In the present study, the objective was to determine if the stories of values help in the improvement of the school coexistence of the children of initial level II of the School of Basic Education Dra. Matilde Hidalgo de Procel of the city of Loja, period 2022- 2023. The research was mixed with a type of descriptive scope and a quasi-experimental design; The methods that were used were: inductive, deductive, synthetic analytical, it also has a population of twenty-two children. For the initial and final evaluation, the evaluation scale instrument based on the Initial Education Curriculum in the Coexistence area was applied, where the results of it show that in the initial evaluation 63% of children are located at a beginning level and only 13%, in acquired. An activity guide entitled "The wonderful world of stories" was developed, which allowed working on values, norms, rules, both individual and group participation, thus helping to solve problems that may arise both inside and outside the classroom. class, once applied there is evidence of a 6% improvement where it decreased in the initial indicator, while a 63% increase in acquired. Concluding in this way that the stories of values used as a methodological strategy in the classroom favors the interrelationships of children with their peers, creating a harmonious climate and adequate school coexistence.
