| Shrnutí: | Food and education are interrelated elements essential to ensure the good development of the child or adolescent, since they influence key aspects such as the physical, mental, psychomotor and social development of the student. These elements are fundamental, since they influence emotional and cognitive transformations during their educational journey. A correct diet involves several elements such as: health, well-being, greater attention in classes, improved learning, optimal development for school activities, preventing deficiencies in the growth and training of students. The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of the School Feeding Program on students of the School of Basic Education "City of Loja" in the year 2022-2023, located within the city of Loja. To meet the objective, a type of mixed research was used in methodology, where the quantitative aspect is combined, through surveys applied to teachers and parents, with children who study within this institution that was found in the representative sample and, on the other hand, regarding qualitative area, through literary, bibliographic and documentary review. Within the results section, the importance and benefits that students get from the consumption of these products were known. It also identified the main challenges in the implementation of the programme, and sought the views of teachers and parents on the outputs or purpose of the programme. In conclusion, although the program is well implemented in the institution, as mentioned by parents and teachers suggest adjustments to improve the contribution of good nutrition of students. In addition, it highlights the need for greater support among teachers, students and parents to make the most of the program. |
