Add Tag | Summary: | The present research work explores the feasibility of establishing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) training center in the city of Loja, Ecuador, specifically aimed at entrepreneurs. The research is based on a thorough analysis of potential demand, revealing a growing interest in AI from local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The technical study details the operational structure of the center, including installed capacity, strategic location, and teaching-learning processes. An online teaching model is proposed, taking advantage of technology to reach a wider and more flexible audience. The investment required for the start-up of the project is estimated at $26,750, mainly allocated to the acquisition of fixed assets and working capital. The financial evaluation, based on 5-year projections, indicates an internal rate of return (IRR) of 36.07%, far exceeding the minimum acceptable rate (MARR) of 9.97%. The positive net present value (NPV) of $27,563.82 reinforces the financial viability of the project. The study supports the creation of an AI training center in Loja, demonstrating its potential to meet the unmet demand for training in this area and generate a positive impact on the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. |
