Riassunto:The nutritional status is the reflection of growth; Physical activities are programmed exercises or recreational activities performed by an individual and eating habits customs that condition how the individual prepares and consumes their food. The present research was qualitative, descriptive, aimed to determine the nutritional status associated with physical activity and eating habits in school children of "Ciudad de Loja"; 202 children participated. Anthropometric assessment revealed a normal weight with 49 girls aged 10 years corresponding to 24%, followed by 44 girls aged 11 years corresponding to 22% and underweight with 25 girls aged 11 years corresponding to one 12%, obtained using the BMI formula. While physical activity was used a questionnaire, guided to the parents, or representatives of children with a total of 169 children who dance corresponding to 84%, followed by 146 children who walk with Weight that corresponds to 72% and 141 children who play in the park corresponding to 70% all this belongs to a moderate physical activity. Food habits are 53% of school children consume vegetables in low consumption, followed by 52.5% of the consumed fruits, milk and derivatives being found as normal, and of and 51.5% of those consume other foods (sweets) with a high consumption. In conclusion, school children present a normal weight related to moderate physical activity and eating habits in normal ranges.
