| Gaia: | This study was realized in the University Nacional de Loja to 894 students of which 191 form the specimenn of both sex form to find the prevalence of temporomandibular disorder in the students that to use orthodontics fixed of the University NACIONAL DE LOJA, whose objective was to determine the prevalence of Temporomandibular Articulation disorders in and students using fixed orthodontic National University of Loja modality studies period May - July 2014 for to realiced the history clinic, the exam odontológico and a meticulous exploration of the articulation temporomandibular in search of symptomatology of alteration in the ATM. Through the collection of data was achieved that the prevalence 0,41 of the specimen studied present any singo - sintome of disruption temporomandibular, while the 0,59 present an articulation in normal condition; the 0,41 to found the noise, deviation whit the 0,10, deflection whit the 0,4, ache 0,3 and limitation to the opening whit 0,3 how expression of TTM the same that power to find how sign unique or in combination being the noise the more frequent with 61 cases, besides achieved to stablish that the sex female is that present higher prevalence whit the prevalence the 0,54 of alteration in the articulation temporomandibular.
