Yhteenveto:In the Parish October 9 Canton Morona in time has increased the population and settlements, livestock, agricultural and mining production this has generated wastewater discharges generated by the pollution of natural water sources, that they are used for human consumption; reason why it is necessary to research water quality to recommend an effective effluent treatment and so have a good management of water resources within the regulations. Based on this context, the priority is to perform the research called evaluating water quality for human consumption in the population of the parish on October 9 Canton Morona through surveys made and through physical, chemical and microbiological analysis; Field research was to establish three sampling points (water withdrawal, distribution network and Homecare Network), physical analysis, chemical and microbiological water according to Annex I of the Unified Text of Environmental Legislation (TULAS). 20 individual surveys were conducted. Once the analysis of field and laboratory determined the parameters analyzed in the laboratory such as color, hydrogen potential pH, conductivity, turbidity, chloride, chemical oxygen demand COD, BOD BOD, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite sulfates, fecal coliforms, total coliforms, are below the maximum permissible levels in the three sampling points, determining that the water consumed by the population is good quality. The proposed Environmental Management Plan is a tool in order to preserve, protect, recover and control potential impacts from various manmade activities in the process of distribution of water for the population of the parish on October 9, the it consists of four programs: Community Relations (PRC), Environmental Education and Training, Protection and Conservation (PPC), Monitoring and Control (PMC).
