| Sumari: | Teaching sexual education conceived as a fundamental process of human beings, claims more interest and commitment by educational institutions, teachers, parents and society in general, but sexual education has taken different settings for religious, political and cultural elements; that have not allowed achieving a conscious and responsible sexual education. This research work has as general objective To determine which is the contribution of teaching sexual education to prevent early pregnancies in students of eighth, ninth and tenth year of General Basic Education at Manuel Enrique Rengel School of Loja city. Also this research work framed by using methods and techniques that will enable a reflective and critical analysis of the problematic or under study, using the following methods: hypothetical-deductive method be used for the formulation of the hypothesis of a particular object of study which will be proved. It will also be using the analytic–synthetic method, which will make it easier for researchers to synthesize, analyze and understand how teachers work sex education to prevent early pregnancies in adolescents finally use the quantitative method which allows to quantify the information based on the data collected in relation to the way of sex education for the prevention of early pregnancies. As a result of the investigation determined that the teaching of sex education that is taught in this educational institution is scarce, limiting in this way the formation of learners; In addition, teachers in the eighth, ninth and tenth year most have been trained to address this issue, which limits developing significant expertise in students; for this reason are not reached the objectives that are intended to achieve with sex education, the same satisfaction that have teachers regarding the learning of students with respect to the subject matter are not good, due to the lack of interest of the same. |
