Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:Noise pollution is an environmental problem that arises from excess noise generated by human activity. This form of pollution can have serious consequences for human health, such as hearing loss, stress and sleep disturbances. It can also affect animals, disrupting their natural behavior and communication patterns. In Ecuador we can show a clear lack of regulation on the issue of noise pollution, so the present investigation is part of the search for whether strict control is truly carried out to comply with the standards regarding noise pollution, carrying out surveys and interviews to assess the knowledge and affectation caused by this currently invisible problem, having as a population the inhabitants of the northern zone of the City of Loja and traffic agents; From the results obtained, it was possible to determine the presence of the problem within the northern area of the city of Loja, since the majority of respondents determined that they had never witnessed any type of intervention by traffic agents to mitigate noise pollution, in addition to ensure that they present problems and health effects as a response to continuous exposure to noise caused by vehicles passing through the area, mostly causing stress, lack of concentration and anxiety; For their part, the traffic agents revealed the non-existence of specific laws to deal with the issue of noise pollution, in addition to not having the necessary equipment to measure it, thus demonstrating that there is a problem of noise pollution by the motor vehicles and that there are also no specific regulations to deal with it or support for agents to reduce this problem.
