| Tóm tắt: | The lack of social skills causes difficulties in cognitive, emotional developing, and learning. Therefore, the present investigation titled: EDUCATIONAL STRATEGY BASED ON MULTIMODAL TECHNIQUES TO STRENGTHEN SOCIAL SKILLS, OF STUDENTS OF SIXTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION PARALLEL B, OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT “MARIETA DE VEINTIMILLA”, LOJA 2017-2018., with the objective of: implement an educational strategy based on multimodal techniques to strengthen the social skills of students. It was a descriptive study, with pre-experimental and cross-sectional design. The methods used were: scientific, deductive, inductive, analytical - synthetic, dialectical; and for the fulfillment of the specific objectives: comprehensive, of diagnostic, modeling and statistical through the Pearson linear correlation Coefficient. The Social Interaction Skills Questionnaire was applied to a non-probabilistic sample of 28 students, aged 9, 10 and 11 years old. The previous results (pre test) showed the existence of deficit in the different areas of social skills: 40.74% in basic social skills and to make friends; 37.04% in skills of interpersonal problem solving and relationship with adults and 33.33% in conversational skills. After the intervention (post test) it was observed that 70.37% improved the skills of relationship with adults, 66.67% conversational skills and 62.96% skills related to emotions and feelings. Concluding that the educational strategy based on multimodal techniques reached a moderate positive value, giving significance for the strengthening of social skills, validating the intervention proposal. |
