| Čoahkkáigeassu: | The following thesis project aims to implement the prototype of a CNC router to manufacture PCBs that although specifically applies strictly to the production of PCBs, provides an overview of all processes that could be automated from this prototype, on the other hand it shows that it is possible automation at low cost by using free software and hardware. In the first part of this document showed some of the techniques used in the manufacture of PCBs using different tools and procedures. Following a review of the current status of the various projects of free software and hardware, after which the prototype was implemented. Additionally, it is done a comparative analysis of the different materials that can be found in our environment, after which it was possible to choose materials that are considered the most suitable for the construction of the prototype, based on their characteristics, availability and cost. It proceeds to describe step by step how was made the mechanical and electronic construction of the prototype, finally a series of tests to the prototype were performed at both speed, accuracy and repeatability of the machining, from the mentioned tests are done a graphic exposure from which is developing the analysis and discussion of the obtained results for later develop and present the findings and recommendations that have done from the made thesis work. |
