Итог:In the parish of San Antonio de Cumbe, no research has been carried out yet, being this one of the first experiments carried out, whose main objective is to contribute to the knowledge of the water requirements of crops with the purpose to improve the efficiency of water use, in the parish of San Antonio de Cumbe, canton Saraguro, it is so that the actions of this research are directly linked to the agricultural sector. To carry out this research the following specific objectives were applied: 1. To determine the evapotranspiration of the reference crop (ETo) through the application of the Blaney - Criddle method. 2. To determine the Evapotranspiration of the bean crop (ETc), in its different phenological phases using the direct method of the volumetric lysimeter. 3. To determine the crop coefficient (Kc) considering the ETo calculated using the Blaney - Criddle method and the ETc, calculated with the volumetric lysimeter method, for the phenological phases of the bean crop to recommend its application to farmers. The research was carried out in the San Antonio de Cumbe parish, belonging to the Saraguro canton, Loja province, on a 35 m2 plot where two volumetric lysimeters of 1 m2 each one were installed. The crop that was implanted was bean of butter variety with a seed density of 0.30m x 0.35m. Phenological stages considered were: germination (Vo) 0-6 days, emergence (V1) 7-10 days, primary leaves (V2) 11-16 days, first trifoliate leaf (V3) 17-28, third trifoliate leaf 29-48, pre-flowering (R5) 49-63, flowering (R6) 64-73, pod formation (R7) 74-93, pod filling (R8) 94-124 and the final stage of phenological stages maturation (R9) 125-146; For a cultivation cycle of one hundred and forty-six days. The reference evapotranspiration calculated by the Blaney - Criddle method determined that the highest value was presented for phase V0, V1, V2 and V3 with 3,1 mm/day; while the lowest value occurred in phases V4, R5, R6 and R7 with 2,5 mm / day. The evapotranspiration of the bean crop was determined to be the highest value for the flowering phase with 2,77 mm / day and the lowest value was presented in the germination phase with 2,15 mm / day. The coefficient data of the crop (Kc) indicated that the lowest value was presented in the germination phase 0.33 mm / day, and the highest value occurred at flowering 1.11 mm / day.
