Lisää tagi | Yhteenveto: | The purpose of this research is to evaluate entrepreneurial skills and their contribution to economic development in the city; this being its general objective. The descriptive method, of an explanatory nature, was used in order to characterize the Lojano entrepreneur and evaluate his skills, allowing to relate the characteristics proposed by Alcaraz (2011) to the skills possessed by the Lojano entrepreneur. In the research, a total of 38 questions and an entrepreneurial test (value scale - Likert) were considered. The determinants were considered: of the entrepreneur, the evaluation of entrepreneurial skills, entrepreneurial ecosystem and the contribution to economic development. Applying the technique of non-probabilistic sampling for convenience and direct observation, 354 entrepreneurs in the city were surveyed. through the survey and the entrepreneurial test, it is evident that entrepreneurs have a series of characteristics that distinguish them from the rest of the people, in this way it was evidenced that personal characteristics and general competence were the main ones, thus highlighting leadership, innovation, optimists, good communication and administration within their business. As a contribution of the study, strategies were proposed that help improve and develop the skills of entrepreneurs. In conclusion, it has been shown that entrepreneurs have developed entrepreneurial skills that support the sustainability of their businesses and that are the main source of contribution to economic development in the city. It is recommended the constant search for information and training on issues of motivation and leadership; Enterprise and business, entrepreneurship is a key element in job creation and wealth distribution. |
