Lasit fáddágilkoriid | Čoahkkáigeassu: | The present research work seeks to analyze the incidence of social networks Facebook and WhatsApp in the interpersonal communication of the students of the career of Social Communication of the National University of Loja. The hypothesis presented in the present investigation is summarized in that the excessive use of social networks has a negative influence on the interpersonal communication of young people, affecting their social environment. To test this hypothesis, a qualitative and quantitative methodology has been used, with techniques such as: surveys to contextualize students' perception of the use of social networks and their impact on interpersonal communication; observation sheets within the classroom, to check if the data of this match with the answers of the applied survey; and interviews to teachers and professionals of psychology to deepen the study problem. Based on the results of this research, it will be possible to verify the use of social networks and mobile phones by students within classrooms and their influence on the immediate social environment. |
