Riassunto:This project addresses the design of an automatic fertigation system aimed at improving the efficiency of water and fertilizer use in the "Los Limos" farm, the approach is based on the specific needs of the area, considering an extension of 1.44 hectares dedicated to lemon cultivation. The implementation is based on a hydraulic drip fertigation system, using self-compensating drippers of 8 liters/hour. The implemented methodology covers several phases, starting with a literature review, followed by detailed analysis, data collection, hydraulic design, automation, electrical design and simulation of the proposed system. The results obtained include detailed calculations such as heat rate, soil evapotranspiration, correction coefficients and net water demand. A subdivision into two plots is carried out, by which the corresponding calculation of flow rates, irrigation time and pipe sizing is performed. The choice of the centrifugal pump is justified by its capacity to meet the flow rate of 23.63 m3/s and a pressure of 68.95 m.c.a. In addition, the calculation of the reservoir volume is performed, and a fertilizer injection system is developed. The proposal includes the automation of the system, which manages irrigation, fertilization, and limiters according to various climatic and operational conditions. The presentation of the simulation of the system in two cases of automation demonstrates the integral operation of the pump, valves, and sensors, ensuring an efficient and controlled irrigation in the farm.
