| الملخص: | The general purpose of the research called "Manual of Functions for the School of Basic Education 18 de Noviembre in the city of Loja" is to elaborate a manual of functions for the educational institution, and at the same time to collaborate for the development and strengthening of the administration as a support to the organizational processes. The methodology used in the research was by the following methods: a deductive method that served for the simultaneous analysis of laws, theories, and concepts and to build the bibliographic structure; an inductive method was used as a tool (Survey) that served to build the structural design and allowed to make the results, the discussion and with it to know the 20 positions that are described in the manual of functions broken down in the organization chart; The analytical method was used to obtain the information that allowed to analyze and interpret the information and to know the results, with the population of 60 professionals that make up the internal staff, 11 jobs, it was also known that they make up 6 departments, 4 boards a general of directors and teachers, executive council, academic board and a grade or course board and 6 school commissions which was examined in its entirety, with information gathered in the survey, the situational analysis was determined. Among the results obtained, it was highlighted that 96% of the personnel know the mission, vision, and policies of the educational institution, 84% of the personnel stated that they do receive courses or seminars to reinforce and strengthen their area of work, 47% of the personnel do activities outside of their job, which gives workload to the personnel and hinders the daily performance of their activities according to their job. |
