| Résumé: | This work will focus in the analysis of the levels of security both a level physical like level logical that can be provided in GPON networks, this with the goal of providing solutions to the possible vulnerabilities and attacks to which these networks are exposed, then that today the deployment of this type of technology is in an exponential growth. To make a correct analysis of the subject, the following objectives have been established: GENERAL OBJECTIVE Study the security of GPON networks to offer a solution to the vulnerabilities who materialize the possible attacks and violations of the information. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Present the current environment in regards the security of GPON networks. Analyze the attack fragile points on GPON networks. Study the most common types of threats that may arise in GPON networks. Propose a solution to counter security vulnerabilities in GPON networks. To make this work possible, a thorough study was made about all the possible attacks that occur in this type of networks, as well as the critical points presented by these networks, thus applying security standards to counteract these attacks that put the integrity of our networks at risk. Subsequently, based on the research, we proceed to establish solutions to the critical points of these networks, in order to consolidate the GPON networks in robust networks in terms of security, allowing to satisfactorily fulfill the proposed objectives.
