| الملخص: | This research thesis os aimed at “Determining the operating parameters of the external drinking water network of the Reinaldo Espinosa university citadel, which allow optimizing its hydraulic and energy efficiency”. The baseline is based on the AutoCAD plans of the external drinking water network-REDAP, provided by the Physical Development Unit of the UNL, which were grouped and adjusted by the thesis student for simulation using EPANET. In addition, according to what is stipulated by the Ecuadorian Construction Norm (NEC-2011), the Norms for study and design of drinking water systems and wastewater disposal for populations greater than 1000 inhabitants and the local Construction Regulations of the canton Loja, a field study of water consumption in the main network of the REDAP of the National University of Loja was carried out, as well as the lifting of the sanitary devices of the buildings, considering information from the Physical Development Unit of the UNL . Finally, the results of the thesis are systematized to develop two field practice guides, which use REDAP as a setting. It is concluded that the current UNL drinking water network is inefficient because it generates losses of more than 30%, for this reason a study was carried out on the design of the UNL's REDAP external drinking water network, available at the Physical Development Unit, The same one that meets technical criteria and provides all the conditions to carry out field practices by students of the electromechanical career. |
