Samenvatting:This research deals with the methodological strategies to enhance the teaching and learning process Curricular Block States of Matter in the second year of high school night school Unified General Dr. Benjamin Carrion of the city of Loja, period 2012 - 2013. It had as general objective investigate how the methodological strategies involve Teaching Learning Process Curriculum Bloc states of matter, the second year of high school night school Unified General Dr. Benjamin Carrion de Loja academic period 2012 - 2013. In the process of the investigation sought to explain the importance of implementing appropriate methodological strategies to enhance the teaching-learning process and route solidly to a quality education, by teachers should consider the advantages of these for teaching and learning in the curricular States Matter. The methodology used was based on the scientific method: inductive, deductive and hypothetical and survey techniques and try to collect field data. The results obtained in the investigation determines that the teaching practice need to consider appropriate methods and techniques for significant potential in students, having been determined that the methodological strategies that teachers apply for the teaching-learning process of curricular States of Matter, affect the generation of new knowledge in the second year students of General Unified School campus
