| Shrnutí: | The present research work entitled “Karate Do, as support strategy to strengthen the practice of children’s values, in the educative process of fifth grade students of E.G.B. in the Unidad Educativa particular San Gerardo of the city of Loja, during 2017 – 2018 school year.”; whose general objective is: To implement the practice of Karate Do, as support strategy to strengthen the practice of chlidren’s values of fifth grade students of E.G.B. in the Unidad Educativa Particular San Gerardo of the city of Loja, during 2017 – 2018 school year. Methodologically, it has a mixed focus (cuantitative-cualitative), which is type of descriptive. The type of design applied in this work is almost experimental. The scientific, descriptive, observational, analytic, synthetic, inductive, deductive, hermeneutic and statistical methods was applied. Likewise, it supported techniques for data collection such as non-participant observation, the survey and the interview, whose use materialized in instruments such as: the anecdotal record and questionnaires. The results of the field research in contrast with the theory, allowed to determine that there was an inadequate practice of values in children, affecting the normal development of their educational process. This research had a population of 55 children and four teachers of the fifth grade, and we worked with sample of non-probabilistic type of a teacher and 14 children’s of the fifth grade parallel "C". Finally, it was concluded that the use of Karate Do, as a support strategy, allows to strengthen the values practice of children’s. |
