description | The research entitled Didactic Resources: effective mediators for developing comprehensive reading in fifth grade students of basic general education; has a general objective: To determine the importance of didactic resources in the development of comprehensive reading of fifth grade students of the "Alonso de Mercadillo" Basic Education School; in the theoretical framework, topics related to didactic resources and comprehensive reading were approached. This study was carried out under a descriptive type of research, mixed approach, quasi-experimental design; in the methodology we worked with the methods: scientific, deductive, inductive, synthetic, analytical, statistical, descriptive methods, which helped me to clarify the work of curricular integration given the base to the different postulates of the authors and based on them to infer criteria with the purpose of approaching the proposed topic; for the collection of information, the teacher and the students were interviewed through a non-probabilistic sample, a diagnostic evaluation designed by the researcher based on the curriculum of the Ministry of Education was applied; the results show the need to undertake actions to increase the level of reading comprehension of students, for that reason the alternative proposal called "The magical world of reading comprehension" was planned, which was successfully executed through a didactic guide of fifteen activities planned following the outline of the lesson plan, selected didactic resources exclusively to increase the level of reading comprehension of students. It is concluded that didactic resources are effective mediators to increase the reading comprehension level of fifth grade students. Key Words: didactic resources, reading comprehension, teaching-learning, skills, abilities.La investigación titulada Recursos didácticos: mediadores eficaces para desarrollar la lectura comprensiva en el quinto grado de Educación General Básica; tiene como objetivo general: Determinar la importancia de los recursos didácticos en el desarrollo de la lectura comprensiva de los estudiantes de quinto grado de la Escuela de Educación Básica “Alonso de Mercadillo”; en el marco teórico se abordaron temáticas relacionadas con los recursos didácticos y la lectura comprensiva. Este estudio se realizó bajo un tipo de investigación descriptiva, enfoque mixto, diseño cuasi – experimental; en la metodología se trabajó con los métodos: científico, deductivo, inductivo, sintético, analítico, estadístico, descriptivo, los mismos que me ayudaron a esclarecer el trabajo de integración curricular y a dar fundamentación a los diferentes postulados de los autores y en base a los mismos inferir criterios con la finalidad de abordar el tema planteado; para la recolección de la información se entrevistó a la docente y a los estudiantes mediante un muestro no probabilístico, se aplicó una evaluación diagnóstica diseñada por la investigadora en base al currículo del Ministerio de Educación; los resultados demuestran la necesidad de emprender acciones para elevar el nivel de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes, para lo cual se planificó la propuesta alternativa denominada “El mágico mundo de la lectura comprensiva”, la misma que se ejecutó exitosamente mediante una guía didáctica de quince actividades planificadas siguiendo el esquema del plan de clase utilizando recursos didácticos selectos exclusivamente para elevar el nivel de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes. Se llega a la conclusión que los recursos didácticos son mediadores eficaces para elevar el nivel de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes de quinto grado.
