সংক্ষিপ্ত:A laboratory is a proposal to optimize the teaching-learning process, which can be implemented in any educational institution; as such, this research was developed with the purpose of determining the importance of the Mathematics Laboratory for the teaching-learning process of Mathematics subjects in the Experimental Sciences Pedagogy Career: Mathematics and Physics. It was a mixed approach, descriptive and exploratory study, with a non-experimental design, applying the documentary review method and the recording and survey techniques, with their instruments: search log, bibliographic and content records, and the questionnaire, respectively. Among the main results, it is mentioned that the laboratory as a learning environment contributes significantly to the teaching and learning of this discipline, as it facilitates the connection between mathematical theory and its practical application in the real environment. Therefore, it is concluded that it is important and necessary to implement a Mathematics Laboratory in the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences: Mathematics and Physics, as a methodology to improve the quality of teaching and learning of Mathematics and contribute to the professional profile of students to enhance the quality of mathematics education and enrich their professional development.
