Označite | Izvleček: | the present investigation carried out at the Isidro Ayora General Hospital "Care Unit for People living with HIV-AIDS" in the city of Loja, studies the main influencing factors for good adherence to antiretroviral treatment in patients, in fact, it was proposed as a general objective; determine the role the family plays in accompaniment of the treatment of people with HIV-AIDS at the Isidro Ayora General Hospital in the city of Loja and the intervention of the social worker with the purpose of diagnosing the problem regarding how family support influences the treatment of patients with HIV-AIDS. For the execution of the field work, the scientific method and its auxiliaries were used such as inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, with focus: qualitative and quantitative through observation, interview and survey techniques aimed at analyzing the main influencing factors in good adherence to antiretroviral treatment of HIV-AIDS patients. The main findings obtained in the research through surveys applied to patients with HIV-AIDS, family of patients and the medical team (Infectologist, counseling and staff of the GAM space), determine that the family of the patient with HIV-AIDS it has a great influence on treatment, since 94% provide emotional support, and 6% belong to a low level of family participation in the care and treatment of the patient. For the medical team, the emotional support that the family provides has a positive influence on adherence to treatment, generating a great difference between patients who receive support from those who do not. Finally, the intervention of the Social Worker is essential in the health field, therefore, the research carried out will contribute to an adequate social intervention in order to improve intra- family relationships and an assertive accompaniment of the family in the care and treatment of the 5 patient, likewise, to decrease factors that affect their good adherence, for which the implementation of the proposal is recommended, which will improve their state of health and with it their quality of life. |
