Opis
Izvleček:The research entitled "Post-COVID Sequelae in Teachers Affected by COVID-19 in Educational Institutions of the urban zone of Calvas canton" aims to identify post-COVID19 sequelae in teachers who suffered from COVID-19. A quantitative, descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study was conducted using a survey as the technique and questions as the instrument in a sample of 67 teachers selected through random sampling. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS program, revealing that 46% reported respiratory problems and neurological issues, 27% had gastrointestinal problems, and 24% experienced cardiovascular issues. The most prevalent symptoms were cough, headache, abdominal distension, sleep disturbances, muscle pain, palpitations, and joint pain. Additionally, 10.4% of the vulnerable population had diabetes, 7.5% had high blood pressure and renal insufficiency, and 1.5% were obese. Chi-square analysis yielded a value of 6.37 with a significant difference of 9.13 between variables, establishing that there is no relationship between a patient's hospitalization and potential post-COVID sequelae
